Coaching for Impact

Programme overview

Coaching for Impact is a Sport NZ-designed initiative. Introduced in 2021, CFI is an integrated coach development programme with the primary objective of growing a collaborative network of coaches who influence positive change in youth sport. The programme aligns with the Sport NZ Balance is Better philosophy and is part of a broader suite of Sport NZ coaching initiatives aimed at ensuring all rangatahi receive quality experiences in sport. The next iteration is being led by NZC, with the support of Sport NZ and other National Sporting Organisations.

Who can apply

Coaching for Impact is open to all experienced New Zealand coaches who are actively coaching secondary school age athletes in a school, club, regional or national sport organisation (or similar).
