Gillette Cup | 2022 Tournament

The 2022 Gillette Cup National Tournament took place between the 13th - 18th December in Lincoln. Congratulations to the following teams who competed at the Tournament:

Mount Albert Grammar School (Auckland), Tauranga Boys' College (Northern Districts), Napier Boys' High School (Central Districts), Hutt International Boys' School (Wellington), Christ's College (Canterbury), Otago Boys' High School (Otago).

Champions

Congratulations to Christ's College, who went unbeaten through four matches to win the 2022 Gillette Cup.

Runners Up

Congratulations to Tauranga Boys College, who won three from four matches to finish as 'runners up' at the 2022 Gillette Cup.

Tournament MVP

Congratulations to Tim Seeto (Christ's College)who won Tournament MVP on the back of his 311 runs @ 155.50 (including two centuries and high score of 160) and two run-outs.

Spirit of Cricket Award

Congratulations to Christ's Collegewho were voted by tournament officials as the team who best upheld the Spirit of Cricket at the 2022 Gillette Cup.

  • Billy Syme (Tauranga Boys’) - 231 runs @ 77.0. 1 x century, 1 x half-century.
  • Lukasz Swain (Mount Albert Grammar) - 111 runs @ 27.75, 1 x half-century. 6 wickets @ 16.33, 1 x 5-wicket bag.
  • Hamish James (Napier Boys’) - 8 wickets @ 15.38.
