What does it mean to be a Safe Pair of Hands?
It means being there when your mates need you.
A Safe Pair of Hands gives throw downs in the nets, puts their hand up to be a square leg umpire, runs the batter’s drinks, and overall looks after their team.
It means when you’re on the way to and from the match, you’re playing with a straight bat - making sure everyone buckles up, sticking to the speed limit, driving fresh and distraction free and volunteering as the sober driver.
